I've taken on some extra work and gotten a small retail job to tide me over while I pursue what I really love, music, but it's starting to get me down.
I don't feel sad or down about life or the job or anything, but I feel like I have no inspiration anymore! When I'm working I have a lot of time to think to myself while I'm sorting clothes, stock-taking or whatever, and that's usually where I come up with new ideas for lyrics and sometimes even melodies.
But lately I've been really struggling to find any inspiration. I mean, how inspired can you really get while sorting through piles of women's trousers all day long?
I need to spend more time listening to other music, or just experiencing life! I'm going to make myself go out more and do things on my days off.
How do you get inspired?
