I was shopping last week and saw these jackets in Uniqlo, they're really lightweight and soft but apparently they're really warm in winter. They can squish up really small which is great to keep in your bag, and it's exactly what I've been looking for, but they're filled with down feathers, which is something I'm not at all keen on!
The outer material is 100% polyamide which is fine, but the filling is 90% down and 10% feathers, and I really don't like wearing animal stuff. I'm incredibly anti fur, don't wear leather or wool so definitely won't be comfortable with down feathers! It's such a shame because they are really nice and come in different colours.
But if I'm going to look for puffa jackets for winter I want to look for ones that don't have any feathers, down or wool involved! It's just too gross and at the end of the day, cruel.
